We looked at Harborside Senior Living. I liked it because it was brand new. Everything was fresh and clean. They had nice big windows, so they could get light in if they wanted it. I did not like the showers in their bathroom though. It didn't look safe to me. The floor in the shower area was slanted. They did that so that somebody could get in easier maybe with a wheelchair, but it also looked like if it got wet, it'd be a fall problem if they tried to get out. The staff who gave the tour to us was very, very nice. She seemed very accommodating. She was trying her best to give us a good impression and everything. She showed us the double rooms where you would share with somebody. And I said my mom's not going to go share a room and a bathroom with somebody, so that was a problem. It was also way more expensive than some of the other places. There were some girls there who were working already because they already had a few clients. The place was immaculate. But the grounds were still under construction. I liked it because it was one floor. Easy to get in, easy to get out. They were building a patio in the back so that there would be a place to get some fresh air for everybody, and I liked that. I like that it was close to me, too. The staff took her time with us and answered all our questions.
