Would not recommend, laurels smells of urine.. Aids treat residents badly. Turn off call lights so they do t have to acknowledge them, don't put alarms on wheel chairs when are moved from bed. Aids complain and talk badly about residents in hallways right outside of doors. Nurses are nice aids are nice when others are around patient, I have walked in while they have been mean to a family member.

I visited The Laurel of Kent, and it was kind of cold. They had hard-looking floors and cement walls. It was clean, but not homey, though I saw a lady reading a story to the residents. I would not put Mom there. People were grabbing at me when I passed by, and that was scary, although I understand. My mom has dementia, so that would scare her.
