I would like to know who's cooking the food. It's poor most of the time at best. I'm disappointed that a care facility could not establish better quality food options. First of all we did not eat alot of this type of food when we were not here. Second of all we are still alive and should be fed and treated in such a manner. Third of all are menu should and has to based on governmental strict gudielines to ensure our dietary needs. Finishing that we need to do a better job for those who give us a job.

I would like to take the time to give my personal opinion of the Emmett County Medical Care Facility. My mother has been living there for the past 3 years and has absolutely enjoyed it. I have visited this facility many times and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I especially enjoy and appreciate the staff here. They are dedicated to the care of your loved ones and really take the time to get to know the patients at this facility. I have viewed the staff actually sitting and talking to the patients instead of just handing them their medications and then taking off. This is extremely important to me as I love my mother and want to make sure that she is receiving the best care and that the care is done by a staff who view her as a person and not a paycheck. Also, Emmett County Medical Care Facility is always clean and smells good. My mother's room is cleaned two times a day and she is allowed to decorate her room however she wants to. This helps her to feel like she is more in her own home, rather than a hospital. Overall, I would suggest that anyone who is looking to place a loved one in a nursing home check this place out. I spent many hours looking at different places around where I live and this one is the one that had the most amenities and the most caring staff.
