"My father has been in Meadow Lane Assisted Living and Memory Care for eight-and-a-half months now. This is probably one of the best places I've ever seen and ever been in. The care that is given to my dad is probably the best I've ever seen. When I see a particular spill that happens in the community room, there is an attendant cleaning it up right away. His bathroom facilities are clean all the time. There's so much good about this place. He has something that's called a suite. It has a small kitchenette that's got a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and a countertop, kind of like a sitting area/front room/dining room and then he's got a bedroom and a bathroom. The only thing that wasn't included was a microwave. They provide three meals a day. They do so much here, that I told my wife that if it ever comes to a point where I need to come to a place, I wanna come here only. We just got done doing an exercise. They brought in Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty just a few minutes ago, and they were handing out flags and taking pictures. Yesterday or the day before, we were doing rosary. Tomorrow, they're gonna be doing mass in here. There are exercises and games. On Sunday, there's a town north of here that's having a polka festival. They're gonna take a bus load of people to this Polish dance for about an hour and a half to two hours. The activity level is extremely high here and it's a voluntary level only. Anybody that wants to go can go on their own. They're not forced to do anything. To me, the food is very good. Some of the residents say the food tastes blah, but to me I can eat anything. They have a pavilion outside and a walkway. My dad also has a raised flower bed. We are doing pickles, tomatoes, and onions. There are some flowers out there. They have a pavilion where they have a place for a firepit. We did that already. We also had a polka dance outside. I was dancing with some of the residents in here also. Everybody had a good time."

"My dad is at Courtney Manor. He is getting excellent care and he seems to be adjusting well. I have had several phone calls with the staff, they are very caring, and they're very self-conscious about making sure that I get every update that I need. He says they feed him very well, so he has no complaints. As far as I know, there has not been many issues with his room, so I would assume it is being kept clean, and he seems to be comfortable. They do have activities, however, right now, with the COVID restrictions, they're keeping everything to a minimum, so he really hasn't done too much of that. We're hoping as soon as COVID restrictions are lifted he'll be up to do more the activities and stuff."

"For the most part I felt like this place had several good workers that cared for the residents. I saw good teamwork among the workers and good communication. The staff really cared about the residents. I would gladly refer someone to this nursing home. I was impressed with the building and am excited to hear that they recently added on more room to the facility. There were many activities available for the residents and the food was good. I felt like they took good care of my Grandmother when she stayed there. The facility smelled pleasant and I was happy to find my Grandmother clean and comfortable every time I went to see her, which was quite frequent. Overall, the atmosphere was good. The only thing I can really complain about is the safety alarms that frequently went off; however, I realize they went off to keep the residents safe. "

"I have decided to keep my husband at Autumnwood of Deckerville. I would recommend this facility, which has a locked-down facility for Alzheimer's/dementia residents. It has an excellent round-the-clock staff. They provide excellent meals, and there's excellent care from everyone. The cook called me for a list of my husband's favorites, and he's doing that. I really can't say enough good things about every one of them that I've encountered. The social worker is awesome. Everyone on the staff is excellent. They have a person come in that does music. They have games, and they have projects for the residents."
