They are a FOR PROFIT place... and they will deny services unless they make a profit. They are always understaffed after 5pm and in weekends. They use the names of past employees to make the schedule look staffed but really understaff on purpose to save money. They won't document anything negative that happens to your loved one. If your loved one has ANY mental disabilities, DO NOT PUT THEM HERE!!! If your loved one requires a helper to go to appointments, they will not allow staff to go. They do not offer special diets, like for a diabetic diet. They offer alcohol events for residents, even if the resident is a recovering alcoholic or if a guardian denies alcohol use for them. The State has written them up multiple times for not providing a call light, not answering call lights in a timely manner, turning the call light off without helping them, and sexual misconduct between patients. Food is not served warm. So much more to say but not enough space to type. Do not use any nursing home owned by Atrium.
