"Mom (who is 100) has been a resident for over 2 years. She is treated with respect and in a very loving manner by the caregivers. We also receive calls very quickly if there is a problem. The facility is well-maintained and nicely decorated for the seasons. We would suggest piped-in music from the 30s and 40s to liven their brains and give them joy. Most of the residents really can’t connect to the TV, do activities, or read anymore so it would give them something to concentrate on. It’s been proven that music wakens the brains of older people. "

"Emerald Bay Retirement Community was a beautiful place. They were very friendly and very informative, but when it came down to putting mom on the waiting list, there's just no way we can afford it. Otherwise, she'd be there now. The facility was very clean and very nice. If that's the way it is all the time, the place is perfect. There's nothing bad I could say about it, other than the fact that after everything is done and we were through with the tour, I called back to get mom on the waiting list, and I was informed that it's $2,500 to put her on the waiting list and they won't put her on the waiting list until they receive the check. They never said anything about that when we were going through the tour. Tyler was excellent. He was very informative and very polite, and everybody seemed to like him. Everybody was talking to him. Even the rest of the staff was friendly."

"My mom is in Allouez Parkside Village and I'm very satisfied at this point. The staff appears to be very receptive and very caring, and they're taking good care of her right now. The community layout is very open and very easy to get around. They can improve on having a little bit more consistency with having the same caregivers available. They have an exercise group, they do church service, they do local news and activities like that to keep everybody up to date."

"I toured Patient Pines Assisted Living. It was amazing. It's a very clean facility, and has extremely nice staff. The information that they provided was upfront and great. They're not a la carte. Everything was included, including the showering. Everything was all in one place, which was wonderful. They have a beautiful courtyard. The common area and the dining area were very nice."

"It was a first class facility. Every thing was orderly and clean. Talked to a couple of residents , and they seemed happy. Price was over my head though. would have loved to reside there. "

"We got a recommendation from a person that we had dealt with before, and we have gone with Eagle Court. My mom is moving soon. It's outstanding. It is a memory care unit. The actual apartment is 400 square feet a piece. The layout is very nice, the kitchen area is very nice, and the bathroom is very nice. I would describe it as a studio apartment. The room itself is very well laid out with nice colors. It's very open and very spacious. The kitchenette is in there. It's got beautiful finishes for the cabinetry. I met three of their staff and all three of them are extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant, very hospitable, and very caring. I think their healthcare is going to be outstanding, as well as the socialization of the residents is going to be outstanding."

"Matthews of Neenah was very nice, very clean, and very professional. I liked the rooms. They had a spot for a refrigerator, and they had a sink. It was nice, and the rooms were a decent size. The closets are not that big, but they're doable. "

"My dad has been in CopperStone Assisted Living & Memory Care. I like, best of all, that it's newer. Second of all, my dad does not speak. He had a stroke, and they do their best to communicate and see what he needs. And then they always kind of like, wink, they talk like, in little dance moves rather than talking to him, or they know enough to ask yes or no questions to help him get his needs met, like at meals and things like that. Yesterday, when we were there, they had a singer there who was playing his guitar. My dad chooses not to do that. He likes to stay in his room. But as I was leaving, I joined the group, because there were a couple of ladies there that I liked; we brought our dog there and they loved our dog. So we sat there with them for about 20 minutes. We sang all the songs with them, and so we had a blast. They make a phone call to ask a question, and they get right back to me. They're very good at that. They're very, very good with what they do so far. I'm very pleased. The building is gorgeous, 'cause it's new, it's beautiful, and they keep it looking so nice. They had a podiatrist come out, they took care of his feet, which was nice. There's a day to do their fingernails, and there's a whole line of women waiting. It's more musical, with people playing the piano, and others listening. They have a calendar of events that I take with me every month just to see if there's something that I can try to talk dad into doing."

"My mom moved into Care Partners Assisted Living in Fox Crossing - Neenah. We chose it because of the people, the condition of the place, and the availability. I like the attention to the care of the staff and the newness of the place. It is brand new. I think the food service could be better. My parents don't seem to always like the food. There are activities if they choose to participate. They have a crafts place, they have puzzles and church services. It wasn't too far away from my parent's original home."

"I liked it. One of the reasons we did not consider this as a location is because they do not accept state aid when you're out of money. That was a determining factor for us because of the high cost of the memory care. Another factor -- this was a negative for me -- is inadequate parking. There doesn't seem to be enough parking here. I don't like parking on the side of a road especially when there's a ditch involved instead of a curb and gutter. It's very unacceptable in my mind. They do have a parking lot, but it's small. The good things are the homey environment, the common areas, and the adequate size of the individual rooms. We did not stay for the meal, but we reviewed the menu. I thought the menu looked very good. "

"My Mother has been in Memory care for over a year and is very happy there. The staff is caring, friendly, and go out of their way to help with any requests like eating in front of the big TV for Sunday Packer games. The food is first class in taste and appearance. Mom's room is clean and comfortable. The staff keep the residents busy from card games to bowling down the hallway, concerts, hot chocolate nights in the pub, bus tours, as well as getting the ladies nails done, and or hair cuts in the salon. During this Corona pandemic Aspire is on lock down, but they have set up face-time visits for the families of the residents."

"The Sterling House of Neenah resembled a quaint, yet large colonial style home, rather than a place where the elderly live. We really liked this. We decided to stop in while in the region for another reason, as we had been actively researching places for our uncle to live. The grounds were nicely landscaped, with many nice and accessible tree-lined walkways and seating areas for residents to enjoy. We could see that this facility can accommodate a variety of ambulation levels as a resident's needs change. Care can easily be shifted to each person's requirements at any time. The main living rooms was lovely and featured a nice decor and many pieces of beautiful and comfortable furniture. Residents may enjoy the library, card games, physical exercise, crafting and hosted gatherings. The fitness center was impressive, with regular exercise classes, and access to assistance to use the equipment. The living spaces were quite nice, with lovely bedrooms that had plenty of light and fresh air. The food menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food all looked and smelled delicious. The residents are taken on many fun excursions to enjoy for both physical activity and mental stimulation, such as cultural events in Neenah and the surrounding region. This is a really well-designed living environment for seniors that includes everything they need. We were impressed with the level of care and the contentedness of the seniors we saw. "
