The rooms were smaller but well laid out. The dining area looked nice, and it looks like it will be accommodating to people's preferences and needs. We saw the exercise activity, and it seems to be according to the person's needs and abilities. As for security, it was set up so that people had a lot of security. If they have left the area, it was known that they have left. If that is the amount of care you needed, that will be perfect, but my mom didn't need that much care. "

"My friend's stay at Evergreen provided everything I would expect of an assisted living facility, and more! She chose Evergreen because a number of other friends and acquaintances had used the facility and provided good comments. She was there for about three months in 2009 after falling and breaking her hip. The early part of the stay required relatively close medical supervision, and the stay morphed over time into rehab. The Evergreen building and facilities are not the most modern, but they are clean and tidy and I had no complaints about them. The food seemed to be of a good quality too, and my friend was quite complimentary about it. She also really enjoyed the social activities and games that were hosted by Evergreen. The medical staff seemed to be very competent too. But the main reason I have given Evergreen a 5 star rating is because of the overall quality and professionalism of their staff. I just can't say enough good things about them. When you leave an elderly friend or relative in a care facility, you want to feel they are in good, caring hands. And I just felt this resonating from every Evergreen employee. They were positive, smiling, caring, all of those things you would want to see and feel. "
