My grandfather stayed in this nursing home during his last few months with us on earth. The staff were very friendly. My grandfather had Lewie-Body Dementia, and was very difficult to deal with at times. They always treated him well. He was even given permission to have his dog, and life-long companion, visit him regularly. That kept him in high spirits, and most places don't allow that. When it came time for my grandfather to pass they were very helpful to our family. We were given a large room, as my grandfather has around 15 children, and there are about 30 of us grandchildren. They allowed us to stay with him until he took his last breath. They were so kind to us all. They made his last few months very peaceful for him, and easier on the family. I truly thank them for what they did for my grandfather. He was kept as comfortable as possible at all times. They went above and beyond what a normal nurse would do, to ensure that he was always happy and well taken care of. The only downfall to him being in a home was not being able to see him at any time, but that is not their fault.
