I toured The Trace. It's a beautiful place. The people are very nice. They showed me around. When I walked around, everything was clean and well-kept. Everything was nice. The staff was very considerate of what I was looking for, and I have brochures and everything. If we get a chance, we'll try to put my dad in there when he gets better.

I toured The Trace and I liked their programs and entertainment. They had social events and they were having a little concert while I was there. The staff was very nice. The dining area seemed to be a central facility, but the building was multistory. The elevators, I didn't know if that was a good idea for seniors. This place wasn't as aesthetically pleasing. The residents seemed happy while they were watching the concert.

My sister is at The Trace. I'm very pleased. They are very friendly, very helpful, and very efficient. When I stepped inside their community they verified my identification, and then the staff took me to the entrance to see my sister. When I went into that department everybody was extremely nice and very friendly. I sat with my sister while she had dinner and she enjoyed it very much. She kept telling me how nice everybody was. Her room is very, very nice. Everything is very clean, and she seems to be very happy. There are a lot of activities that my sister is not involved in because she's in the memory care. But there's bingo and card games and they all eat together in the dining room, and they seem to be very much by each other's company.

I toured The Trace for my mother. It was very nice. The coordinator was very informative and made sure that we saw different types of rooms - the 1-bedroom, the studio bedrooms, and the 2-bedroom apartments. She was very informative and very cordial. The staff was very good with showing us around including the dining area. She also offered us to come back and eat at the place with them to see how the food tastes. The whole place was very clean. It met all our standards. The dining area was very clean. They showed us what the menu was. If you don't want what's on the menu, you can order. But you had to wait a little while to get special orders. The rooms tell the difference that everybody has. You can decorate your room however you want with your own furniture. They had a library, a movie room, and a place where they could do activities. They had an outside patio where they could get out and just enjoy the view. Everything was in line with what we were looking for, to be honest.

The Trace has been fantastic. They're wonderful. They're very informative, very friendly, and very warm. The food was fantastic and the kitchen staff would come out to your table and take your order. They're very quick about serving you right away. My uncle gets three meals a day and they have a lot of social activities. They have the best library with a fireplace and leather chairs than any of the other facilities. The staff is incredible. They're all helping each other and they always stop and ask if I need anything or if my uncle needs anything. His apartment is a studio and it's all hardwood floor. It's very modern and in fantastic shape. The building is beautiful. They have a fountain outside and his window on the third floor is right outside the fountain, so he leaves his window open and he can hear the fountain in his room.

I toured The Trace assisted living and I like their willingness to help my dad. A lot of places didn't want to and were not open to his needs. This facility offers more hands-on care for him too. The rooms were standard, I would say, but they are nicer than where he is now, although the efficiencies were smaller in size. It's a newer facility so the bathrooms are more updated, they're more ADA compliant, and the common areas are nicer than where he currently is. They offer more variety in food too. The menu is better than where he currently is and there's their willingness to help him in his daily living activities. They take the residents shopping but I know he won't participate in that. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the details of that because I just know him and I know he's not going to participate in that. They take you to doctor's appointments, they take you shopping, and then they have outings. I'm sure that they have craft things too, but he's not going to do that. I probably would have paid more attention if it was something I thought he would be interested in participating in. I met with the sales director and I also met with a couple of nurses. They were very, very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us and even on the weekend texted us and the whole bit.

I liked everything about The Trace, I really did. The price was right. There's just a lot to offer. The community layout was great too. I pretty much give everything about The Trace a five. The staff was very nice, very helpful. They're willing to work with us, made sure we can get my mom in there if we wanted to, and willing to hold the apartment for a while, and things like that. I thought the room was great. The only thing I didn't like about the room was that it didn't have a full-sized refrigerator. I did look at the menu and the different options and all of that, and it looked very, very good. The facility was very clean. It's centrally located. The lady that gave me the tour was interacting with the residents. It was very good, and it seemed like everybody there was happy.

My in-laws moved into The Trace. The place is very nice and it's like a hotel. Everyone's very nice and accommodating. They have activities going on all the time. They have a library, a beauty salon, and they do exercises. The food is very good.

The Trace was very nice, and the staff was very friendly. We didn't see the grounds. I saw their activity rooms, and the people who interviewed us were very nice and very knowledgeable. The dining room was very spacious, but there weren't any people eating at the time we were there. The facilities looked great. The rooms were very nice. I was pleased, but it's beyond our means. It looked so colonial architecturally from the outside.

The Trace is attractive. I had a friend live there for a couple of years, and she had a nice-sized room that was for living and dining, a kitchen area, and a nice-sized bedroom with a bath. There was nothing wrong with the size of the rooms for one person anyway. I really don't see anything wrong with The Trace. They have added and updated the interiors also, and when I took a tour a few weeks back, I saw another room which was nice, and the size is acceptable. I liked it particularly because it was sunny. I feel like it could be a place for us.

The Trace was good. The memory care area was not as nice as I had hoped it might be, but the other area was nice. I only met the intake coordinator who was very nice, helpful, gave us a nice tour, and lots information. I don't have anything negative at all to say about her. The rooms in the independent and assisted living seemed nicer and brighter. The memory care area was darker and just not quite as nice. The dining area was quite nice. Memory care had separate activities and an activity coordinator in there. The common area had more of a nursing home feel than assisted living. They had a salon, a garden area, and activities. I think The Trace is well located to a lot of things in Covington and has easy access from several surrounding communities.

My relative is moving into The Trace. She liked it, and it appealed to her. It's a nice, big, pretty place. I think it's good. The staff is very nice and attentive. The rooms are super nice and big. She ate the food and said it was very good. They have exercise class, a lot of art activities, a big TV room, and a theater room. There's a lot of activity going on. The Trace has everything.

One of the main factors why I chose The Trace at Claiborne Hills for my husband is because it's so convenient to get there -- I am only 5 minutes away -- and because it is quite small, so there is more individual attention. The place is very clean, and the people are very professional. They do have a lot of activities like exercise, movies, bus outings every week, and happy hour on Fridays. They also have arts and crafts. There's a lot of things that they do. They have been very good and sensitive to emotions.

The one I visited was The Trace. It seemed to be very nice. The director seemed to be very professional. I felt like he really knew what to do, and he was very interested in the people that might be placed there. The only reason I did not chose that place is because I felt like she would not be a good fit there because of her health. It was very nice. They have like two units. They have like a Dementia unit which they called the memory unit. It is separate from the other residents which were just in a little better house. I thought that was nice. The rooms were nice. It had one-bedrooms and studios. They had little kitchens in them so if the people wanted to prepare some of their things, they have a microwave in the room. They can at least heat things. They have a little refrigerator. It is like a little kitchenette with a bathroom. I think it is a really nice place. I would recommend the place. They were very professional, and the activities were kept in one level so the people could get around easily. I talked to a couple of the residents that were there, and they said they liked the place.

My Mom was here for several years. They took exceptional care of her. I know many other folks that lived at the Trace during her stay and they all said it was wonderful. Personally I was always treated well and was impressed by the caring staff. We looked for a long time before selecting The Trace for Mom. It proved to be worth all the effort. A+. And, Mom was there before and after it was bought. The service was outstanding both before and after the purchase so I don't understand the other comment.

My used to stay there it used to be very nice with local owners. They sold to an out of state company in June 2011 and the service has gone down ever since.

Ella and I celebrated our first anniversary here [in] June 2011. We are glad we were able to find and move here. All our needs are taken care of, and the best part is no grass cutting! We are excited that we got a new activities director and are looking forward to new activities. All our neighbors are friendly and helpful. Thanks to all the staff for helping make our golden years productive and enjoyable. Jules and Ella

To be here is great because the people that work here; cooks, servers, housekeeping, RA's really take good care of us. I like (love) our event coordinator and her tea parties. I also really like the other residents, they are very nice people. Grace Bobrowski
