"I went to McCready Manor two years ago to visit my aunt. It's not that old, but it's nice. It is run really well. There are one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments in it. They got a lady that does things with the seniors whenever they want like they go on little trips and things like that. My aunt liked it there. The staff were very nice. They're very amiable and the food was very good."

"Dominion Senior Living of Richmond is very nice. It's very clean. They have a snack area just inside the entrance where the residents can get snacks and drinks anytime they want. It was very nice. I talked to the director, and she was super nice. I was very impressed. The apartment was a little small. But I'm not sure I like to live in such a small space. It was a studio. The place was excellent. It was a very nice place to live but it was also very expensive."

"I personally have had many experiences with assisted living facilities like the Mc Kee Senior Citizens Center. I must say that this living facility is by far the absolute best I have ever seen or ever been to. My grandmother is currently a resident of this facility and she is very happy there. Every time I have ever been there she is always well taken care of and all she seems to do is rave about the caretakers there. I, like most people out there, have heard all of those horrible stories about living facilities and what they seem to be like, however, this living facility is nothing like the horrible stories that you may have heard or seen in the movies. This center takes care of each individual equally and in my opinion is always a step above the rest. I have never had any ill feelings about leaving my grandmother at the Mc Kee Senior Citizens Center. As a matter of fact, I feel very comfortable with her being there because I know that she is being taken care of as good as or even better than I could. "

"My brother moved into Boonesboro Trail Senior Living for 11 hours, but he got combative, so we had to take him to a hospital where he eventually passed away. The facility was new, just built in 2021. They were very super nice people. It's a super clean place. All the staff was friendly. Everybody was just as helpful as they could be. His room was good and it was a little bigger than some. It was clean, and the bathroom was a good size with a standup shower. He had a view of the back where he could see the cars passing on the bypass. When we finally got him moved in with the furniture, they were very helpful in helping us get all that done. And then when they got him in, they were very helpful with everything. All we had to do was ask and they just jumped right on it. They had a good activity list. Because we told them that we'd be coming about every once in a while to take him out for country rides on the weekends, and they said that they have a bus and they'll do country rides. "

"Rose Mary C. Brooks Place was a beautiful place. If I have to go somewhere else to live, I would definitely go there. I checked everything they had, but they can't and won't supply the help that my friend needs. He needs more help than those places are up to. They are more a place to go, either for senior living or for some help. This time what he needs is more than what they can offer. The staff was very nice to me. Nobody had any issues. They were very good. They took me in early. The major person to give me information wasn't there, but they came up with the information between a few of them. The rooms were very nice. It had everything anybody would need that can't live in their home anymore. It was a great place. The people that were living there when I did the walk through seemed very happy."

"Windsor Personal Care is a fairly new facility. It's very nice. My brother has a private room with a private bath. They keep three staff members on at all times. It's very clean and very well administered. I'm well satisfied with it. All of the staff are very nice and very accommodating. They have local ministers who can come visit, bookshelves, and an outdoor patio where you can go in good weather. The food is prepared in the kitchen and they have snacks. There's a fireplace and a TV in the common rooms and then they can have telephone and TV in their private rooms. I'm very happy with it."

"Great staff and friendly environment. They truly care for their residents and give them the feeling of home. I saw a lot of activities going on and the nursing staff did fantastic work. Very patient with their residents!"

"I toured Sterling Meadows, LLC. It's very clean. Everybody was very friendly. It looks like a lot of the patients were very engaged and well cared for. They seem to be very knowledgeable about the patients, and very attentive when you come in. When I went in, they were very attentive and I wasn't expecting much. I was very impressed with their security measures. They seemed to have good security measures in place, not only for people coming in but for potential patients trying to leave when they oughtn't."

"My mom was at Windsor Care Center. She did physical therapy there for 11 days. We loved it there. It's in our hometown. My mom would like to be there so she can be close to home. They're just very kind and helpful, and they seem to care about the patients. We went to a Thanksgiving dinner there, and the food was very good. Their rooms aren't very big, but they're very clean."

"The facilities were very clean and the staff was very courteous. Even on third shift the staff was always willing to listen and always wanted to help the residents. Each and every time I would visit I was always greeted in a very respectful manner and was proud to leave a family friend here. The care here is truly top of the line, as the nurses and even assistants are particularly well educated, some of them moonlighting at the home while attending college classes. This mix of hospitality and good education showed up in the treatment of residents. I visited with more than just my family friend at the facility and noticed that none of the residents had anything bad to say about the staff. This is a real change up from others I have been to where the residents are frequently explaining that they have been hurt by staff. "

"My Mother in law was there for a few years,the folks there were polite and knowledgeable,the food was like hospital food-but was fresh,the building is old and in need of upkeep and repairs,stains on ceiling tile,different colors of paint spotted on walls,Our negative issue of this facility was care:Every time we visit mom,her urine bag had to be emptied-as if it had not been emptied for some time,plus she would have bed sores-they were worse and worse,instead of getting better upon each visit,one sore on her foot had gotten so bad-her foot had to be amputated,this occurred after we moved her from the this facility.Also,my wife made mom a quilt and laid it on moms bed,to keep her warm,upon next visit,the blanket was gone,nobody knew where it was and no one remember seeing the blanket to begin with.So we have mixed emotions about this facility "

"Care was good except one nurse on 3rd shift named Amanda she was suppose to check my sugar every 2 hours did not , suppose to tell me I was not support to eat after midnight did not I had to tell her what was going on .she tried to blame 1st shift but she got the orders after 1st left .i do not recommend her for no one all other staff was Great !!! "
