I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The Heritage Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Facility, in Corbin Kentucky, is second to none. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is very competent in all services they provide. Servant minded employees with serving hearts to offer the best care to all their residents. The management and staff offer the residents unending love and personal support even in difficult times and situations. Being quick to respond to everyone’s needs. Being polite and caring, gives The Heritage facility an awesome reputation for anyone seeking their services. At the Heritage facility the residents have the opportunity to participate in social activities daily including; playing cards, bingo, board games, celebrating birthdays to movie nights and special events offered by the staff. The staff also participates in special occasions, such as, honoring our Veterans and sponsoring local events such as, “The Walk to End Alzheimer’s” and being a part of “The Tri-county Abuse Council for Elders”. Also, on Sunday’s the residents may participate in Church services provided by area Pastors and Singers. The Rehab facility has all the latest amenities and qualified staff to support the residents who need their services to help strengthen their physical needs. It is my opinion if anyone is looking for a complete offering of Nursing Home care and Rehabilitation services for a loved one, then, The Heritage and Rehabilitation facility certainly should be considered a High Priority!

My grandmother was a resident here and passed away here. We loved all the staff, they were excellent to her, and were always attentive and she loved them.

My father is in The Heritage. They're kind of on the average, his room is somewhat comfortable, he is in a private room, and he's on private pay. His therapy seems to be good, it just seems to be a lack of communication with the therapy people. They have a community room from what I'd understand.

I am/was a resident of this facility

It seem nice on the outside until you get inside and hear the CNAs talking g about each other and using curse words in the presence of the residents. It's an awful place to be. Nurses are not professional ,they need personal development and training in professionally and Ethics..No one cares...

TERRIBLE NURSING HOME. Walking into this facility you would think it was a great nursing home, there is no oder and it appears to be very clean. This nursing home is all about looks, the patients are treated very poorly. My grandmother who just passed away was never asked if she would like water when I came to visit she was never bathed and had food dried on her face. The nurses often took a long time to respond to calls and my grandmother was afraid to call because they would yell in her face when she did and demand to know what she wanted in an aggressive way. The nurse did not know I was in the room and she proceeded to get into my grandmothers face and once she saw me she had a different attitude about the situation. She often had bed sores all over her body and she was severly dehydrated and the nurses would ignore her request for water. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONE DO NOT BRING THEM HERE.

I visited this facility

Well, when you walk in you are greeted by a friendly face at the door.It is a designated worker assigned just for that job of greeting people and finding out if they would like some help in finding a patients room. There is also a very large and accomidating t.v/lounge type room. There is a large screen television and several large, comfortable sofa's and chairs to set down in.Down the wide hall way and to you right is a very inviting recreational room. This room has many tables and chairs. It also has a ping pong table for the residents to enjoy. Many of the residents enjoy playing this game and several were setting around at the tables playing cards as well as bingo. The kitchen workers regularly bring around various snacks and drinks for the residents to enjoy. On sundays, this room is turned into a gathering room for church. There are several local preachers and area singers who give of their time every sunday to come and be a blessing to these people. The residents carry their own bibles in and really seem to get a lot out of this time. The facility seemed to be very clean and tidy.It had a nice fresh smell to it as well.Over all,I believe this facility to be one of the best in the state.
