I toured Heritage House. It's an elderly community for 55 plus. They've got a little recreational room, a little kitchenette, and you can put events in there. They do bingo nights. They have a workout area, a TV area, a community room, and onsite laundry. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They are smoke-free, so there's no smoking anywhere in the building. They have a little patio area out in the back or front where they can go.

A family member lived here- it was awful- bugs/mice, tenants terrorized/bullied other tenants. No security, drug dogs needed badly to go thru hallways! The slumlord could careless about her tenants- didn’t want to be bothered! Owners of building Key management are more concerned with $ than the safety of the tenants!

Nothing fancy, but this senior focused apartment community is located in the heart of the downtown area. It is safe and conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, banking and healthcare. This type of independent living is a great option for those wanting convenience, safety and social connections. Residents have their own apartment units and become like family. Many of the senior programs like Meals On Wheels, Commodities and LIEAP operate here. Rent is based on income. Not much to speak of in terms of grounds or landscaping. Site manager knows her residents.
