"I've been at Westbrook in West Mountain for almost three years now. It's OK, but I can't have a pet. I wanted a dog, but I've pretty much decided I'd stay here. The rooms are adequate. The staff keeps the public areas clean. There's an exercise room with treadmills and bicycles, and there's a community room where they do puzzles and that kind of thing."

"The Glen at Hiland Meadows is excellent. They have a caring, wonderful, and efficient staff. It was the whole experience. Everybody there was fabulous. It was clean and everything was perfect. They care, and they know everybody by name. The food was good. They have exercise classes, field trips, crafts, and baking activities. They also have transit to go outside the premises for shopping. They have people come in and they have lots of concerts for the residents."

"I toured The Terrace At The Glen. First of all, the facility is gorgeous. They have everything that you can think of. The other thing that I liked is the fact that they do have a continuum of care. Pam was extremely informative. She followed up without being intrusive."

"We toured the Summit at Saratoga. It was just excellent, like all the amenities, the services, and the cleanliness of the place. They had a lot of community activities, like bingo and movie nights. They had the hairdressing salon right there. They had physical therapy, a beautiful dining room, a piano bar, entertainment on Friday nights, a beautiful pool, and a nice tavern where people would join together, play cards, and drink."

"The Woodlawn Commons had 100 apartments; 60 were independent and 40 were assisted living, all within the same building. The facility is very beautiful and well-maintained. They have a ton of activities. They also had food there that you could choose to eat. They have a hairdresser, different massages, physical therapy, exercises, and little clubs that play bridge, cards, and things like that. The staff members were very friendly and knowledgeable. The price is a little bit more than my parents could afford."

"Mom is at Embury Apartments at The Wesley Community, and it's been a wonderful experience. The apartments themselves are very well thought out, in really good shape, and they keep them up. They have all kinds of staff downstairs, from a nurse, to social workers, to the people that run the facilities, to custodians that fix and keep everything up for them. There's a café to get prepared food, and if they can't make it out to the market, they can get a loaf of bread and some milk there. So, there's food and support. Food's pretty good, too. I've eaten it. It's a beautiful campus. It's very large with lots of space around outside to walk on. It's an exceptionally good building. The apartment towers aren't very pretty on the outside, but the inside is really great. They have all kinds of activities going on. They have a big library downstairs in the lobby, a bus service to stores, bingo, chair yoga, and sometimes they do movies (although with COVID, some of those have been scaled back). Sometimes during Christmas time, when there's no COVID, they'd have choirs come in and things. My mom is Catholic and there's a group that says the rosary together. They have everything. They take housing HUD that gives the people who can't afford it subsidies, so my mom pays well."
