I had a family member that resided there because I wasn't able to provide the care that was needed. However, I'm also the legal guardian and after learning medication was changed , he was also hospitalized without them notifying me, and not including me in the treatment plan. I filed a complaints( proven). In addition to, they discharged my family member after all of my complaints and kept all of his belongings. The employees were rude, and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place for your love one. Keep searching and read all of the reviews for this place.

I used to go spend time there as a child and lead holiday games with the residents. I remember it being a higher security building because of the number of younger patients there. It was a rather tall building and I accidentally went to high up in the elevator getting ready for the Easter egg hunt. I had been putting posters up all through the building. I was later supposed to hide eggs outside. As soon as I got out of the elevator, I was stopped by the nurse and they explained why I could not enter the floor. I remember it being a clean, larger facility with a lot of land attached to it. There was plenty of outdoor space for residents. In comparison to other facilities is was much more friendly and brighter. Though the surrounding neighborhood leaves something to be desired. I would be careful going to and from the facility.

This facility located in a south suburban area of Illinois. This facility has a bed hold of 412 residents. This facility only accepts individuals 59 years of age and up. They have a heavy population of psychiatric residents. They provide long and short term services to residents. The smoking is supervised by the staff. There is no dialysis services on the grounds. The grounds are fair, and the colors in the facility were neutral. While there I noticed some of the resident's clothing look dingy. I would rank this facility a 3 out 5 stars.
