When my looking for long term care insurance my parents decided to visit a few nursing homes near their house in case they would ever need to go to them and since I was my parents power of attorney I went with them. The first nursing home we visited was this Courtyard. I never wanted to ever think of a time that they would not be able to take care of themselves. But at the age of 70 they wanted to plan ahead. We visited the rehab department and saw the way they worked great with all of the residents. The chance of having a stroke increases with age and the rehab department would be an important part of their lives, if needed. Then we sat in on a Christian service they had for the residents every week. My parents both agreed this would be a great facility if you actually had to live in one and not live on your own.
