"I went by the assisted living facility of The Villas at Bellevue one day. I accidentally found it, and I just pulled over and went in. I told them that the place had been mentioned to me, and they were kind enough to let me look at it. It's a little small if you ever entertain any guests, and I have children and grandchildren who come to visit from time to time. Other than that, it's a beautiful place. It's well equipped, has very nice grounds, and seems to be a safe community. I'd move there in a minute. My biggest problem would be trying to get back and visit family and stuff. I've been pleased with the staff. For anything I've ever requested, they gave me the answer, followed up, and did whatever had to be done. Everybody's been very kind and very courteous about everything. They also explained everything so that it was very easy to understand. Communication is a big plus. They gave me a tour of the actual room, the space, and so forth. We didn't get into a whole lot of specifics because this is all so new to me. I still don't know what to ask or what to do."

"My sister was at Green Acres Health and Rehab. They had lots of activities and a caring staff who acted on things immediately. I was invited once a month to a care plan meeting. The rooms were larger there compared to other places but not well lit. The overall environment was positive, very happy, and busy. "

"My brother became a resident of Chaplin Wood in February 2024. He received amazing care from the nurses and other staff members. They were always available to answer my questions and provide any assistance I requested. I was kept in form of my brother‘s condition at all times. I would highly recommend this facility Due to the caring and concern they show their residence."

"My sister is in the memory ward of Advanced Health and Rehab of Twiggs County. They don't keep up with things too well, but I haven't had major issues yet. The rooms are sufficient. She's in a double room, and there are two beds in there and a television. It's just a basic room and she's got a closet and drawers on her side. It's kept pretty clean. They were jumping around, dancing and singing along with the music while I was there, and there's a piano as well. They have an activities director."

"Oconee Heath is crowded, relatively small, and outdated. It doesn't really have a comfortable lounge, a TV, or living room space. I found that all of the employees cluttered around the front door. The rooms were small with three people to a room. I didn’t like anything about it, even though my brother is there. I am thinking about moving him. The tables were not comfortable. "

"I liked the ratio as far as staff to clients at Agape Personal Care Home. There's more personal or hands-on care. The activities were good also and that was the first thing I liked. They had bingo, birthday parties, game nights, and outings. They have three cooked meals a day, but they don't have a chef. The staff was very helpful, informative, and forthcoming with information."

"My aunt is in Angels Divine Personal Care Home, and I would recommend them. They're not cheap by any means, they're expensive. But they will take you in a private room, and if you have medical needs they do a little bit more than other assisted living places do. Their staff is very good. Their rooms were very nice and the food is good. They work with you to give you what you like. It's a very small community, they have just about four or five people there. I have no complaints, they've gone above and beyond to be helpful. It's a very clean facility. It's just that I don't see a lot of activities, they don't have the staffing for that. They did individual care, but not too many things to do with groups. My aunt can't walk, and they're taking great care of her, and making sure she's not getting any bed sores, and so on."

"My husband wasn’t in Rosewood that long. I put him in at about 5 o’ clock in the evening and stayed there with him till about 9:00, and then I left and went home. Then I came back because somebody called me and said, “You need to come out here. Your husband had fell out of bed.” He even fell down twice. I told them that they had to put rails on the bed, if he does fall out of bed. He goes in a long way off by himself -- no rails on the bed, and nobody there to check on him, so I took him out that morning. The room was fine. They just didn’t have any rails on the bed, and they didn’t have him close enough where they could watch or monitor him. The staff seemed OK. When you talk to them, they are nice, but they are all ready to deny everything when something happens. "

"We went to Stone Brooke Suites two weeks ago. The visit was good. I like all the amenities. It is an ideal place to live. It is convenient for the family and all. They have meal preparation, and they take you shopping. They have all the convenience I have at home. They can take care of my medical needs, too. They showed me around. They were courteous. They gave me all the information that I needed. Everything looked clean. The outside was beautiful. It was nice and clean. It's a nice view from the apartments."

"Coliseum Rehabilitation Center was very nice, and the rehab department was excellent. I was able to choose the meals that I want, but I would mark one thing and they would bring me something different. The menu was very appealing, but I was on a special diet and I could not have certain things. The food was always tasty, and I really didn't object. "

"VCT is still a great place to live. Sure, there have been some changes but, it is what we make of it that counts, good or bad. From another review, the never provided meals but, had vendors who sold and delivered meals to the residents who requested they be delivered. These vendors stopped doing this because there was not enough participation to make it profitable for them. I am a resident and have been so for five plus years. "

"This living is very unique, it is tailored for children and youth who have family problems and mental problems. The kids come from different group home and foster homes throughout the United States.The living environments is very stable and the people assist the children are very nice and capable of handling them. The campus has an abundance of different activities like basketball and baseball programs for the youth and even a gym for recreational purposes. the eating facilities are to notch also providing a nutritional diet for all the youth daily. They also travel a bunch, going to various places like the zoo, basketball games, etc. The environment is overall very friendly and there was no problem getting along with people. There are no major concerns about this place really its an overall good environments that helps youth get ready for the real world.Sometimes if something goes wrong there it is handled with very minimal aggression and solved in an calm fashion. The overall atmosphere of the place is the most soothing from many of the place I have been at and it is a place to go if your looking to have fun.It is open to the public and can be accessed at any time of day except for night hours.
