"I have lived here over 8 years now. I am so happy here. The staff is loving and caring and very friendly. There are so many activities I'm sure anyone can find something of interest. If you want a new activity, they are happy to add it to the calendar. As a Resident Ambassador, I have the best of all worlds. I get to help new residents get acquainted. Also I help with activities and parties. There is so much to do, one can fill their days with friends and happiness. Come join us."

"Dublin Place was our second choice and I liked it and everything. The only downside of that is there was a door going to the outside and I didn't feel comfortable about that. Nevertheless, everybody was very friendly. There was a nice dining area. There were a few areas to sit and socialize. They had an activities director. Everything was good. It was clean, and everything looked well-kept. The only different thing was just that door in this room leading out, and I wasn't comfortable with that. The dining area was a little bit small, but it was plenty big enough for the facility itself. It just looked kind of small to me."

"My aunt will move into Oaks at Lake Wildwood. I thought that it was very nice. The director was very pleasant and very helpful. She was able to show me around and gave me a good tour as far as seeing a room that was lived in that had furniture in it, which helped, and then was able to, of course, show me which room my aunt would be occupying. She was very helpful. The room was small but spacious. They have enough room to have a good amount of personal belongings and extra furniture, too. In the living room, you could still have a couch and a recliner, and a TV, and then in the bedroom, you could have a bed and a chest of drawers. There's a good amount of space. Everything looked really good and clean. Everything looked like it was maintained in the facility and very clean. I thought their dining area was good and seemed homey. I noticed they had a group that was doing a Bible study, and then I also noticed they had a salon where the lady was doing someone's hair that day that I went. They had like puzzles and games kind of thing. They have access to being able to use a washer and dryer, and that's one of the reasons we chose that because that's important to my aunt for her to be able to do her own laundry."

"My father-in-law will be moving in. We chose it because of the price and when we visited, it was brand new. It's very clean. They have several activities. They have art, church, Bible studies, and a swimming pool that they put them in a chair and lower them down to it. They have a little putting green, which my father-in-law has always been a golfer, and he was kind of excited about that (if he can get on his feet again and get going). They give everybody a thing that they wear around their neck in case they fall. They have an activity room so if you want to come and do birthday parties, they can do that. The rooms are very nice. They did not have any type of smell. They smelled very good and clean. They will come and get him five days a week and take him for physical therapy, or just exercising."

"My sister is in the memory ward of Advanced Health and Rehab of Twiggs County. They don't keep up with things too well, but I haven't had major issues yet. The rooms are sufficient. She's in a double room, and there are two beds in there and a television. It's just a basic room and she's got a closet and drawers on her side. It's kept pretty clean. They were jumping around, dancing and singing along with the music while I was there, and there's a piano as well. They have an activities director."

"I liked the ratio as far as staff to clients at Agape Personal Care Home. There's more personal or hands-on care. The activities were good also and that was the first thing I liked. They had bingo, birthday parties, game nights, and outings. They have three cooked meals a day, but they don't have a chef. The staff was very helpful, informative, and forthcoming with information."

"My aunt is at Elberta Health Care. What I like about this facility is that the people are nice, and the facility seemed very clean. Everybody also seemed to be doing their job. "

"I toured Summer's Landing. It was very nice. At that time, I was thinking that my husband and I could move in there. He was in the hospital at that time. Unfortunately, he died shortly thereafter and never came home. But the tour that I was given was very nice. I was impressed with the independent living. It was in a separate building but connected. They had a living room, a dining room with a full kitchen, a bedroom, and a balcony. I liked the balcony very much. It was a big plus. They have a lovely dining room. You get two meals a day depending on which meals you chose. Everything was very nice. The only downside that I saw was that there is only one washer and dryer on each floor, and there are three floors. You have to time your cleaning or your washing that way. Other than that, everything was really nice. The staffers that I met were very nice."

"My husband wasn’t in Rosewood that long. I put him in at about 5 o’ clock in the evening and stayed there with him till about 9:00, and then I left and went home. Then I came back because somebody called me and said, “You need to come out here. Your husband had fell out of bed.” He even fell down twice. I told them that they had to put rails on the bed, if he does fall out of bed. He goes in a long way off by himself -- no rails on the bed, and nobody there to check on him, so I took him out that morning. The room was fine. They just didn’t have any rails on the bed, and they didn’t have him close enough where they could watch or monitor him. The staff seemed OK. When you talk to them, they are nice, but they are all ready to deny everything when something happens. "
