I also give this nursing home a Zero. My family member has been there and I noticed the lack of care for them and the treatment that was needed. (Occupational therapy and physical therapy) I also noticed the staff does not encourage patients to participate in therapy. Its truly like they do not want to be bothered want to help with the patients care. I Moved my family member from this facility and it is the best thing I have done. The Website is completely misleading - I do not recommend this nursing home to no one. A ZERO

I would give this Nursing Home a zero but that it not available. Have been to this place to visit a dear friend several times. It is not as it seems. They have a lot of staff but most are not doing anything with Residents. I have informed my friend's family that she needs to be moved based on what I saw. They already had concerns with medical care at Nursing Home. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It needs to be closed from what I saw. On Care, they have the rating from Medicare at 3, wrong.

My Aunt was a resident at Dawson Manor. I found the facility to be clean and well manage. I did not like the smell of the nursing home I felt as if more could have been done about the odor. My Aunt did seem comfortable and did not have any issue with her room. I found the staff to be very friendly and concern about my Aunts wellbeing. I did not see that the home offered a lot of activities for the patients. It would have been nice for the patients to go on trips or be able to participate in activities. Overall I think that the facility is ok because the place is clean and from what I observed the residents did appear to be happy and well taken care of. I would say they do need to improve on activities and trips of the residents. I feel they would appreciate getting out for a day on the town.
