My 91 year old mother has been at Crystal for over a month now to get rehab for her shoulder. The employees have been kind, supportive, professional, and go out of their way to make sure my mother has what she needs. They call me and my brother with updates and keep us advised of everything that's going on. Being in the care giving industry, especially now, with COVID looming over everyone, is difficult and takes very special people to continue to work in such difficult times. Thank you for all you are doing for my mother! God bless you all!

I have visited Crystal Health and Rehab several times throughout the years and each time I go, I am so impressed with the staff. They are so caring and excited to be working with these beautiful residents. The staff truly brings the love and happiness to each and every person who stays there. The faciility is clean and the rooms are spacious. When my father in law stayed there several years ago, every need was met on a timely basis. Thank you, employees of Crystal Health for your big hearts!!

The staff was helpful in giving me information, about what they offer. I have just started to look for places, and this is one that I will put high on my list. The rooms are nice size and clean. I did notice that there is a smoking area, I don't think that it should be located where it is. I feel that people that do not smoke should not have to see the people that are smoking. Should find an area that, when visitor our coming to see they families they don't have to see the smokers. Should maybe consider a place in the back of the building. The grounds are very nice, and the peacock add a special touch. Gives it a fun feeling. It is a very hard decision in life when you have to make a choice where you are going to put a loved one. For sure in life, you want to make sure that you make the right choice. So, for that I will be visiting other care places, before I make and choices where to put my loved one. But I will for sure have an interest in this place. The staff has contacted me a few times to see if I have had any other questions. I felt like that was a good sign. In today's world we don't seem to get to many calls finding out if there is anything else they can help you with. So, I thank the staff for that.

My father-in-law is at Crystal Health & Rehab and it's awful, disgusting, heaps of violations right and left, and I have nothing good to say about it. When you speak to his physical therapist or his nurse or the social worker, they all have three different outlooks, including the doctor, so no one seems to be on the same page. They transferred him to a COVID unit without letting us know, and then when we called to find out where they were transferring him they wouldn't tell us. We had to track him down ourselves because he happened to see the sign when they were taking him in. He doesn't realize how bad it is. He's gonna be 97, so "bad" to him is different to us. We saw it and it's dirty. Some of the residents who are confined to a wheelchair have to wheelchair a little way out of their rooms because they're bored silly and they just watch people walk the halls. While we were in my father-in-law's room someone came down the hall and she made everyone that had their wheelchair partly in the hallways move back. She said, "You know the rules!" and that was just uncalled for. I would not recommend this place. First of all it's the only rehab center in the Keys, and that makes it harder. We just checked them out, and we didn't have a choice. He fell, we were in Michigan, he was there, and they took him from the hospital to there. It was out of our hands but we never would have chosen it. He complains about the food that there is no salt. He's not on any restricted diet so at least they could have given him salt and pepper packets, but I guess they don't do that. The only thing they have there is where a chiro would pull up for a drop off, and where the residents could go out and smoke, or where you see employees out there. It's just when you walk in, that's it. They have to go out in their wheelchairs. There's not really anywhere to sit.
