"My parents moved into GVS a few years ago. Its truly a great place. Full of wonderful people - residents and staff, alike. The facility is tremendous - well built, solid and well-maintained. The staff cares about the residents and they go the extra mile to make everyone happy. The most recent example, they made sure that my mom could "attend" a destination family wedding via Zoom. A staff member came in on her day off just to make sure my mom was all set up! I could cite many more examples. From our perspective, management did an excellent job dealing with Covid. They made a plan, worked it and communicated very well. Continued fingers crossed, of course, on that. Anyone in the Indianapolis area looking for a retirement community for themselves or a family member, should check out GVS."

"The people at Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes were very nice, and the independent living housing was good. They presented a lot of activities that they have available or will have available post COVID. In terms of the rooms, my ladies actually felt it was too much space for them. The staff member that I met there was named Cami and she was great."

"Altenheim was pretty. It was very big, very spacious, and well maintained. The staff was really nice. It just was a pretty place to live. If my husband and I were out there, we might live there because it was very pretty. I love the laundry room and everything. The rooms would accommodate just fine. My mom and brother would have plenty of rooms to breathe and live and everything else. "

"Franklin United Methodist Community had individual homes and apartments. The accommodations and facility were excellent, and the food was good. They had a good woodworking shop for the men. They took bus trips to a lot of places, like shows and theaters. They also had card games."

"Assisted living facility was very clean, smelled great. So many times you can go into facilities and smell foods, or daily caregiving smells but it actually smelled like home. Staff greeted me several times and asked if I needed help with anything. I wanted to take my grandmother out to the nice courtyard and they assisted me, they did not act bothered. "

"Beech Grove Meadows is top-of-the-line, it's very nice and I like the people running the place. If I could afford it I would move there. The staff who gave the tour was very good, she's been there for years, she knows what she's doing, and she's very capable. The community is convenient and very nice, there's nothing wrong with it and it's very clean. I would have moved in the next day if I had the money. I did not eat there but I was shown menus and they would have been fine. The place itself is very pretty. They don't have a swimming pool but they have lots of activities and they do the normal stuff when it comes to activities. They have a beauty shop. It's relatively homey, and their dining area is just like a nice big room. It looked fine and had nice furniture."
