All of the people are so kind and respectful and truly care about the well-being of those living at the facility. We know their needs will be taken care of when we are unable to be there. "Altenheim was pretty. It was very big, very spacious, and well maintained. The staff was really nice. It just was a pretty place to live. If my husband and I were out there, we might live there because it was very pretty. I love the laundry room and everything. The rooms would accommodate just fine. "Franklin United Methodist Community had individual homes and apartments. The accommodations and facility were excellent, and the food was good. They had a good woodworking shop for the men. They took bus trips to a lot of places, like shows and theaters. They also had card games."

"Assisted living facility was very clean, smelled great. So many times you can go into facilities and smell foods, or daily caregiving smells but it actually smelled like home. Staff greeted me several times and asked if I needed help with anything. I wanted to take my grandmother out to the nice courtyard and they assisted me, they did not act bothered. "

"I have lived in a garden home at Robin Run Village for eight years and highly recommend it. Our community feels like a family; residents are friendly, caring and supportive of one another. Most stay active and keep up on current events. There are many activities to pick and choose from. There is a nice walking trail circling the campus, even an authentic log cabin situated in a beautiful woods. Staff make us feel like they really care about us and are pleased to serve us. I suggest that seniors considering a retirement community make the move sooner rather than later to make friends and adjust to senior living."

"My dad went into Asbury towers earlier this year. Overall, the care at Asbury has been very good, the nurses attentive, and the food is excellent. The only concern I have is with the business management of Asbury. The business manager really does not seem to know what is going on, and may not really even be qualified to be handling the residents' accounts. Granted, most of the residents are on Medicaid, but some (like my dad) are not. Unless the cost is too great, the business manager should have access to electronic fund withdrawals from the residents' banks, as necessary. Otherwise, Asbury is a very good place for someone needing assisted living. "
