Charter Senior Living of Orange is absolutely beautiful. It has plenty of options for what kind of room, how much care you need, and how big a place you need. However, it was a little over the budget at the time, with what Mom wanted to spend or what she was expecting, so it was a bit of a sticker shock, and so Mom kind of got cold feet with the whole thing. The people who were running the tour were great. They were fine. They did a great job. They showed us everything we needed to see and told us everything we needed to find out. The place was only a couple of years old; it was just a great place.

We were able to tour Charter Senior Living of Orange. It was lovely, but I need more amenities than what they had to offer. Nevertheless, it wasn't a hard sale, and they were extremely friendly. We had lunch there. I thought the dining room was lovely and the service was very good. I had a salad with some tuna fish, and it was fine. The common areas were clean. They were very open and spacious. However, I was very disappointed with the size of the rooms. They gave you a gorgeous kitchen, but if my meals are included, I don't need such a big kitchen. The bedroom was rather small. I doubt if it would even fit a king-size bed.
