TWIN OAKS GUEST HOME provides excellent one-on-one care for residents. Months ago, I moved a family member into Twin Oaks (after she had been in other places) and have since been very pleased. With their last new hire having been more than five years ago, Twin Oaks’ staff turnover is very low, which yields more consistent and individual attention to each person's special needs, such as diet, medical care, physical and social activity and quality of life. At Twin Oaks, the experienced caregiver-resident ratio is much higher than what we found elsewhere. Each member of the Twin Oaks staff has many years of professional caregiving experience. Coupled with their close attention and familiarity with each resident, they are able to observe early signs that a change or medical attention is needed. Twin Oaks maintains relationships with in-home health care companies that bring registered nurses and physical and occupational therapists in under the resident’s insurance. Twin Oaks goes above and beyond merely performing a checklist of requirements as they strive to keep each resident's quality of life as good as it can be for as long as possible. We’ve had great care and cooperation with special requests. Dealing with them is easy and I am pleased with the personal attention and follow-through.

This was a very pricy facility but the staff there is warm and caring, it is very clean, and there are plenty of activitie that take place throughout the day in the Rec room. We kept our great grandmother here for 12 years and I feel as though her last days were made to feel as peaceful as possible. Pros: clean, friendly staff, nutritious meals, beautiful grounds, extended visiting hours, activities, positive atmosphere Cons: very little involvement in rehabilitation ( they did not go above and beyond normal nursing duties- which for the price I believe they should have) I recommend this rest home as a great place to spend the twilight of your years.
