Escalon Heritage Homes was in a small town, which was out of the country. It was more open and they had duplexes, which were connected instead of three or four apartments together. They had one bedroom apartments as well as studios. I would have my own private front yard and it was close to the Senior Citizen's office, which was across the street. There was also a park nearby where I could take my grandchildren to play. They had great staff. There was an area to play bingo, a reading room and you could have your own pet. There was also a yard keeper to clean the yard. The residents cooked their own food. I liked the place a lot.
