Adult Day Care Communities in Round Rock, TX

"I was a client of Williamson County Thrive Social & Wellness Center. They were very nice, and they also gave me a tour. The staff is super nice very accommodating, and very understanding. They had more people there. Everybody seemed to like it, all the other seniors that I saw there. They were okay, but it's a different setting. It's not as big as the other place we tried. It has one big room with a big table, and they have activities for the seniors there, but that's the only place they stay. I think my mom got bored and she cried over there because she thought we would not go back to pick her up. They tried their best, and they did Google translate to help her understand what was going on, but she did not like that. It's a much simpler setting. It's not as beautiful as the other one, but I don't think that was a factor for her. I think she just felt bored. They're very accommodating and it was half the price of the other place. I thought my mom would like that one better because they had more people, and she would be able to interact more with more people there. They have activities, but it's all in the same place. They have drawing and painting, and also little exercises. They move the chairs and do chair exercises. They also do knitting, crochet, and stuff like that. I could tell that the other seniors there, they knew each other. It's all clean and organized, and you can tell that it's very well maintained."

"I was a client of Town Square NW Austin. We like everything. The place is beautiful, and the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. They did help my mom. They had somebody's dad that could speak Spanish, so that made it a little easier for my mom. I would take her back over there. They have painting, exercise, dancing, and movies, and they have like free time to do personal arts and crafts, like knitting and crocheting. They have a music room if they want to play instruments. They have food also, like breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They also have time for them to read or to just sit and stay there. The place is built like in the sixties. There's nothing that we didn't like, everything was great. The staff were very nice, and they even send pictures throughout the day to let me know what my mom is doing. They have a little dining place. The facility is super clean, it was brand new. They gave me a tour and it's beautiful. They have everything for them. They have very different rooms, in different colors; and in each room, they have an activity, so they move them around. I think the value is there, it's just for us to take her every day, it would be expensive and goes back to $150 a day. I see the value because it's a beautiful location and they have the people they need. They had somebody with my mom the entire time because she doesn't speak English."
