"I toured Knowles Home Assisted Living and Adult Day Services. It's wonderful. I liked it. The people were fantastic. They were very personable. I went in, they took me into a shared room with two people, and then they took me into a private room. It's a shared bathroom for the two people. It was very clean and very up-to-date. They have a very nice cafeteria. The patients can have trays brought to their rooms if necessary. It's just there for whatever the patient needs. They have two TV rooms. They can have a TV in their room and a TV room with shared people. They play bingo, they have cards, and they put puzzles together. They have several activities. They're constantly doing things about their work and activities. It was a fantastic place. They do make choices. They do accept choices, which is very good, Medicaid choices. On Thursday they have grilled or fried chicken, and on Friday they have grilled or fried fish, which is very good for seniors. They have turnip greens, pinto beans, and white beans. They were serving lunch and it looked delicious."

"My dad enjoys day care at Catholic Charities. Everybody there is quite nice, quite welcoming, and happy to be there, happy to work with everybody who comes, and they have a lot of activities. They keep them engaged. It is on St. Mary's campus -- which has assisted living -- and it also has the day care program and the child care on the campus as well, so it is an indoor program. They have a big amount of space. They have live music that comes in most of the time, therapy dogs that come in and visit, they have an abundance of activities, and they get a hot lunch every day. They have conversations about current events topics, and they do the puzzles and some crafts. They have occasions for the people who work there to take some of the people on outdoor strolls because my dad does like to walk and they do accommodate that; they have people who can take a walk with them every once in a while when the weather is permitting. He has just been enrolled there and this is his second week. "

"My son loves being at Spectrum of Care Adult Day Care Center. We chose this provider because of its location and its price. It is a clean and nice place. Their staff is good and reliable. They are very caring to my son. They also offer a variety of activities for their clients. They have Wii, puzzles, and crafts to name a few. I just wish they had longer hours for my son to stay there. "
