Adult Day Care Communities in Warren, OH

"I highly recommend this home to send your loved ones to. I am still kinda new here being here for 6 months. This is a home away from your real home but your loved ones will have a new family here. Everyone is treated like family, even among us residents. We will celebrate your birthday and have activities to keep your mind working. Making friends can be easy. This is not like a regular nursing home. You have the privacy of your own room with a shower and a small kitchen area. You also have no bills other than your rent. They take care of everything. I retired from a nursing home 15 years ago. seen many very bad homes, some of them were shut down. This place has got to be the best in the state. Believe me whatever the cost, it is worth it. I am the youngest person here at age 70. I plan on staying for the next 20 years. This place can make you feel appreciated and loved."

"Easter Seals Adult Day Center is pretty clean and you can't smell any odors. The people are really nice. They offered transportation which is really nice too. They have an activity room. The staff member who showed me around was very nice."

"At the moment, we’ve opted for adult day care with Easter Seals -- instead of going into assisted living -- and they are very nice. We found out about them through the VA, and the VA is actually paying for my husband to go there every day, and they pick him up and bring him home. They seem to be doing a wonderful job. He says they keep him busy; they have things for him to do. They give him two meals and a snack, so he doesn’t go hungry or anything. The first day he said it was boring, but that was just the first day, and he’s only been there for like a week, so I’m sure there are other things too that they can do as the time goes, but they’re extremely caring. They actually almost have more people working there than they have clients, which is very nice because you got plenty of one-on-one assistance, plenty of people right there to help. I’m very happy with them at this particular point. "

"We are very pleased with LIFE Lawrence County. My sister goes there and she is having a wonderful time. They do crafts, paintings, they sing, they play brain games and board games, they have exercise classes, and they go on boat rides. She gets a continental breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack. My sister says it's a nice, portion-sized meal for them, and it's a wide variety of flavors and choices for people. And there's always an alternative choice of a sandwich if you really don't like what they're serving that day, or if you're allergic to it. The bus picks her up and drops her off at home. The people there are very friendly. There are doctors and nurses in-house if there would be an emergency. The staff there is very young, caring, energetic, very helpful, and very in-tune with what their clients need. She really likes going there and she enjoys it immensely. I would recommend it to anybody that needs a break from somebody they're taking care of."
