I feel as if I failed my mother by choosing this company. My experience was them agreeing to all of my mothers needs and wants but failing to follow through. My mother’s care team was inconsistent and never did nothing more than take her temperature. They failed to give her medicine that we beforehand approved as not “treating her primary illness” due to their below average communication amongst her care team. In my opinion, they lay it on thick during the “presentation” but aren’t capable of actually doing the job. They never answered questions they promised they could.

My mom is with us and she's under Devotion Hospice care. I think they have been wonderful to us. Her nurse was here today and she comes once or twice a week. My mom also has an aide who comes to bathe her 3 times a week. They have the chapel service that comes and they've got a music minister that comes over too. My mom's got dementia so he comes over and incorporates some musical games that kind of help her mind, a kind of exercise for her mind. They're just wonderful. They've provided a hospital bed, an oxygen machine, and the suction machine should there be a need for that. They provide pull-ups or tap-style diapers. They provided the medicine and delivered it. They provide checks that you can put on the bed or a chair so that it's not soiled. They provided the bedside table too. Devotion Hospice is so thorough with their work with the nurses and they brought all the stuff we needed to my house. I've enjoyed them. My mom was in a hospice about 3 years ago too but they weren't anything like this.
