We have been using C & C Caring Hands LLC services for my mom's care for several months. I feel like they take advantage of their clients because of the price base that I was given. They have some pretty inexperienced people. They had little to no experience, and according to some of the administration staff, they had a high turnover. I'm not a person that likes people in and out of my home frequently. I think that if you're going to assign someone, you assign them there and that's their assignment. But they kind of move them at will without notification. Then when they send somebody, they want to make their own schedule. For instance, they call in and say they are going to send somebody and the schedule is from 8 to 5. They would say they can't get here until 12 but they're going to leave them here until 6 or 7 in the evening to make up for their time. That's not how that works. It's not somewhere that I would recommend unless you just don't have the funds to take care of your people. They kind of get you over a barrel because they know that you can't afford anything else so they kind of take advantage of that. I wouldn't recommend them very highly. We've had a few caregivers that knew the job but their turnover rate is so high that you can't keep the good ones. We've had several within these months. They want to train them at an easier location. They send inexperienced people to get some training over here and then send them to a harder location. That's not what I'm paying them for. I don't train and I'm not the caregiver. I shouldn't have to keep training people in and out. They like to use the word acclimation and say they're just going to get them acclimated. That's not acclimation, that's training, and people are getting paid to do that.
