I have 2 family members on Covenant Hospice. It was a difficult situation to say the least, but met all of our needs. They gave us the tools we needed to care for our loved one. They made sure we knew that up front we would be the ones providing the care and they would direct us. We were thank you for their care, compassion and knowledge.

Covenant hospice is terrible. Thank the Lord I'm a nurse. My mother was dying from cancer and she was confused on the medicine we gave her. I had to restart 4 iv's on her as there average response time is 2 hours. She sat up and moaned in pain for 48 hours before we finally admitted her to the hospital for pain control( their systems only could deliver so much medicine) I know your family members want to be at home to die, but this service will in no way control their pain it's horrible!

I would not recommend this company for hospice care...for many mAny reasons. First, The system they have only shuffles through patients like numbers until their last day..we saw 5 different people over the course of 1 week. We were placed on hold for 15 minutes during an emergency situation. We were not equiped to hAndle what they asked of us, while grieving the loss of our mother- we were made to feel that we were stuck in the hospice system with no options for additional care...we not only had the stress of the horrible death of our mother but also the distress of a completely unsupportive hospice experience...it was unbelievably horrible
