This facility far exceeded my expectations. Something about an assisted living facility just seems odd and you just know the situation has the potential to be weird. But, not at this place.I can't tell you how much I was glad to be wrong. I came in with no expectations and just hoping "it wasn't too bad." But, this facility worked with my family member relentlessly if the wanted and/or needed the help. But, they also provided as minimal care as needed if requested by the patient or caregivers. The experience is truly tailored to the family and caregivers, which I found to be a very positive experience.In addition to the daily routines, this facility also goes out of its way to provide the residents with activities every few days in a common area to make sure they are getting out of their rooms and getting some exercise or whatnot. I only have good things to say about this place and I hope those of you who have to go through the experience of having someone close to you in an assisted living facility have the same experience I had.
