My father has been using Legacy Home Care for about seven or eight weeks now. They do in-home health monitoring. They talk to the client, and then they have individuals who will go in and do home health care depending on what's needed and what the family wants. They do blood pressure monitoring, pill counting, and weekly physical checkups. They arrange PT, they drive to doctor's appointments, and they coordinate doctor's appointments and set them up. They're really good at covering all the needs of the elderly person. We have an RN who comes in weekly, and he loves that person. That person is great and takes care of the pills and the health monitoring, takes him to the doctors, interacts with the doctors, and makes sure that the instructions from the doctors are followed through and coordinated in the house. Compared to other doctors that I've dealt with personally and when my mom was in care, this is far superior. They're very attentive and very good communicators. They coordinate group calls from all the children and RN and my dad together, or with doctors, so I can actually talk to the doctors when he's in an appointment, just really good coordination.
