The hospice nurses from Minnesota Hospice helped with changing and bathing my dad. He didn't have the hospital bed that they provided because he didn't want that. Even though that was a little bit of a challenge, they were still willing to help. They also helped us with the medications. My sister and I were there the majority of the time, so we administered the medications for the most part but whenever they were there, they showed us easier ways to handle it, especially when his jaw locked. Natalie, the nurse, was great. Kate, the social worker, was very helpful and understanding about certain situations. She offered advice on how to manage or get through it.
