Amazing company, very professional and compassionate, The nurse Dave and Cna Hollie were beyond exceptional, words cannot describe the care Hollie gave our father. They kept us well informed and truly cared about our concerns. I highly recommend Heart to Heart Southgate and the above employees are angels sent from above. Thank you

I can not say enough positive things about this specific agency, from the initial contact, admission, assisting me with bringing my husband home, having all the supplies and equipment needed, to the nursing visits, Melissa, our nurse, was kind, compassionate, took her time with us, made sure that all my husbands supplies and equipment was obtained, no matter what, and was always on time, and communicated with me frequently. Evie (liaison)who assured me that if I wanted to bring my husband home and made it happen within 24 hours and kept following up and making sure that everything was going good, the office when I called, getting back with me right away, I never had to wait for more than 4 minutes for a return call and in the end, the nurse came out within 30 minutes (at 3:30am). Being a nurse myself, I believe I may hold caregivers more accountable, and Heart to Heart never let me down and I highly recommend Heart to Heart, and coming from an active nurse, that is an accomplishment. Thank you all, especially Rhonda in the office, Evie, liaison nurse, and Melissa our nurse, You are my heroes!

This is for Heart to Heart Hospice of Southgate Michigan. I wish I could give a negative million review. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE AGENCY. DO NOT USE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONE. Nurses did NOT CARE. They were always in a hurry and did only what they had to and NOTHING more. I wanted to talk to my mom while they were there with her (during pandemic lockdown) and the nurse was NOT kind enough to give me that opportunity. I WILL NEVER HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY AGAIN. The nurses did not tell me how bad my mom was. My mom had BEDSORES and the nurse didn't tell me which I'm DEVASTATED over. They called me two hours before she died and only said she "wasn't responding." I immediately headed to the facility but the nurse didn't even stay with her but said she'd be back the next day and she left my mom. The hospice nurse was not there with me when my mom passed away. The chaplain was COLD AND TOTALLY UNCOMPASSIONATE and horrible also and was giving me a clinical definition of death while talking to me on the phone saying my mom was "active" which was totally foreign and devastating to me and not helpful or the least bit comforting. The facility called the hospice nurse back and she didn't get back there until after my mom had already passed away. She said NOTHING AT ALL TO ME and just went in the other room and called the medical examiner and the funeral home and then left. She did not offer any comfort or consolation or say one kind word to me. I called and spoke to the Executive Director afterwards because was angry at the horrible care, comfort and communication provided by their agency and he hung up on me because I said a swear word and his poor little ears were offended. I had great hopes this agency would help me look out for my mom and they FAILED HER AND MYSELF MISERABLY AND I AM HEARTBROKEN BEYOND COMPREHENSION. I wish to God I had never heard of or used this agency.
