With five years of clinical experience spanning home health, long-term care, rehab, and psychiatric and addiction medicine, Skyla oversees every clinical detail of your care plan. "It's a privilege to meet families and support their loved ones," she says. "We build the plan of care together — understanding deeply what each client needs."

Injal Patel — Client Care Manager

Injal started as a patient care technician before moving into care management, so she understands firsthand what it's like to sit at a client's side. Her background in psychology shapes how she listens — to what a family truly needs, not just what's on the chart.

Dan Buhay — Community Partnerships & Care Advisor

Dan connects families across Greater Boston and MetroWest with the right care and resources, drawing on his own experience caring for a family member to guide every conversation with empathy.

OUR STORY

BrightStar Care of Needham/Brookline is a family business built on family experience. Owners Bruno and Olivia Ferrari are proud parents of four children, and having grandparents live at home shaped how they understand care and dignity. Olivia's own journey began as hands-on care staff, founding Joyfully Giving to serve elderly clients directly. Bruno brings a background in business operations and human resources, having led recruiting and training as Chief People Officer for a manufacturer scaling from 500 to 1,000 employees. Together, that blend of personal experience and professional expertise is what led them to partner with BrightStar Care.
