My mom is receiving hospice services from Merrimack Valley Hospice (MVH). The MVH doctors and nurses are very good and quality of care they provide is good. But the company is hard to communicate with. MVH also insists on using their contractor pharmacy to supply any meds that their staff prescribes. So, the family has to deal with two pharmacies, one for MVH and one for pre-existing prescriptions. That makes medication management difficult. Also, their point of contact has been rude in conversations with me and stated that MVH has no standard business processes!
