Kimberly gives us support with home care and related learning associated with rules and practices. Also Kim has been encouraging threw out our illness and you can always count on Kim for caring. I feel like Kim really puts herself out to serve us. Kim always points us In the right direction as there are many things to know about caregiving.Dave

We contracted with Arcadia to help out with our elderly parents, one of whom has dementia, and the other with poor health. I was especially impressed with how helpful they were dealing with dementia, it really made a huge difference in quality of life. They are so easy to deal with, they really try hard to understand your needs, and then meet them! They are very flexible, as well. We kept having to request changes to the schedule and they really were accommodating. We have met several of the caregivers and we have liked each of them very much. They are very trustworthy and personable. They are always on time, and give never had an no-show. We really feel like they are a partner with us in taking care of our parents, which is great because we live quite a distance away. They feel like family to us now!

Two things impressed me the most about Arcadia's Springvale office: their willingness to pitch in when we had caretaker emergencies and their training. A few times the office help came in for emergency needs when I needed to help my elderly mother. I also later became a certified PSS thanks to Arcadia training and qualified for the Maine program to get paid to take care of my own mother. Instead of costing our family, it paid off to work with Arcadia!

My dad is 77 years old and still lives independantly but frequently has a need to be taken to certain dr appointments, grocery stores or if not feeling well, a need for someone to do quick cleaning, meal preparation in his apartment or assistance with organizing his various medications. Arcadia, Kim especially, has and continues to perform all those tasks upon request. When my dad calls Kim, her response is always immediate. In a sense, it is almost as if my dad is her dad too, which says a lot about her caring and compassionate approach with him. My dad doesn't trust many people but he absolutely trusts her and I do as well. I'm over 2 hours away and so can't respond quickly with an immediate need so she has been my life line on many occassions. Most recently she set my dad up on meals and wheel to ensure he would have food through the winter months. I didn't ask her to do that; she made the recommendation then set it up. I can go on and on about the peace of mind Kim and her team provide. Aside from great care for my dad, the office is prompt with any requests, everyone is pleasant to talk to and billing is always accurate and timely. My dad is able to live independently because of Arcadia's great service and care. Thank you!
