We are using Damascus Home Care for my husband. I have someone who comes in from 9 to 11 in the morning. She just comes on Tuesday and Thursday and just helps with getting him up and washed and dressed for those two days. She does a few things, and if he's sleeping, which he does a lot, she'll go out and water the flowers, and she can see him through the window, wash the dishes, and do something. If he's awake, she'll be with him. She's also very good at taking him out in the wheelchair, which I can't push up the hill beside our house. She pushes him up, and he really likes to get out and see something, but he can only do that when he's alert. She is very, very empathetic, knows her job well, and she's also very strong. She can lift him almost, which I can't do. But she's very good and follows my wishes very well. Her boss came originally to talk to me about it all and then I hadn't made up my mind and then she came again and we sorted out the days and she seemed very, very nice and very efficient, but I've only just seen her twice and I get the bill, it's automatic pay they have my credit card and I also get a copy of the bill, a little bit after the month. I'm quite happy.
