Heart of Hospice

My wife used Heart of Hospice. Normally, they would do two or three days a week. They would have the nurse come, basically do the vitals, and any questions, or if she needed to have something. My wife had asked what would she have to do if she wants to get a breast X-ray. I couldn't believe it, they brought an X-ray machine in here. They did it right there where she was at, and the same thing with the doctors. The doctors every so often, or whenever they would call for a doctor, one would show up and do his little exam right here. That part of it worked out pretty well. She had an aide that came and basically helped her do her hair and all. We didn't ask them to prepare meals and all because I took care of most of that the best I could. They provided the service and they provided some of the medical equipment, like the oxygen concentrators. They didn't provide wheelchairs, but I already had that. I had some issues with them, but they all were resolved pretty quickly. The other thing was they had normal hours for when they come, but you could call them anytime and they would come. The oxygen concentrator had some problems, and they came out here at 2:00 in the morning to deliver them. That part they did pretty good. If you need to get a bed at 3:00 on a Friday, they deliver the bed at 6:00 that same evening. I have to rate them high because they responded anytime we called in and it was as good as you could ask for.
