My stepfather was cared for by VITAS in Edgewater. There were numerous employees that were outstanding. Glenn, Patty, Daniel, Chip, Holly, and Thelma provided superior service to not only my stepfather, but compassion and heartfelt care to our family as well. It takes a certain type of person to do this type of job and I feel that VITAS truly got it right with who the hired to assist and care for terminal patients. Thank you so much for taking such extraordinary care of my stepfather and for all that you did for our family as well. God bless you all.

My father was placed in this facility for his final days on earth. I could not ask for a better place for my father to pass on to eternity. The staff was great, it takes special people to do this job. The social worker Nolle was a very compassionate person and guided us through my fathers passing. The head nurse was absolutely amzing also. I thank god for giving us such an amazing place for my father. The staff was amazing right up to the funeral home picking my dad up. I would highly recommend this facility.

We had Dad at South East Volusia Care Center. The facility is very nice and very clean. Diane, the social worker, is fantastic. Alice, the nurse, is a horrible person. She is very rude, very not understanding, and not caring at all. The rest of the staff were very cordial and very professional. He was always clean. He was very well kept and he they were very attentive to him.
