Unlike traditional care agencies, Seniors Helping Seniors employs active seniors as caregivers to support their senior counterparts who need a helping hand. For co-owner, Deanna Thach, a registered nurse with years of leadership experience, serving older adults has always been a calling. Aside from working on medical-surgical units and in triaging capacity, Deanna has found fulfillment in volunteering with various senior-related causes, including Alzheimer’s Disease research, nutrition information intake, and hospice. Through these experiences, she brings both professional expertise and heartfelt dedication to the business. Co-owner, Jeffrey Macapinlac, has a wealth of experience in the medical device industry delivering world-class customer experience with a focus on continuous improvement. He’s also excited to exercise his background in creative multimedia (DJ/MC/Photography/Videography) to put others in their best light and positively move the community. The natural passion is also deeply personal. Jeffrey’s mother, after being laid off late in her career, found a meaningful second chapter as a caregiver. That opportunity not only gave her purposeful work but allowed her to retire with dignity and joy—a testament to the power of this model. As parents raising three young children, Jeffrey and Deanna are excited to invest in the community, creating opportunities for both seniors who need care and those seeking flexible, rewarding employment.
