This hospice did not help me or my husband at all for the very short time they were supposedly to help us--2 days. They did not respond when I called for help. They did not provide respite care for me at all. They were not at all sympathetic or understanding in my time of crisis. Yet they collected a substantial sum of money from Medicare. The doctor's comment was that my husband's dying was going faster than he thought. Is that supposed to represent sympathy and compassion? When I called for help, no one called me back or bothered to show up to help me for hours. The doctor was like a robot; the nurse failed to express anything resembling sympathy. I will never deal with any hospice again. Their primary goal is strictly financial.

This agency was simply not there for me and for my loved one, who passed. They did not respond to my phone calls in a timely manner or provide me with comfort and assistance when I most needed it. They gave me no words of comfort or phone calls or anything for 10 days after my loved one passed. They adhered to their "protocol" for contact, disregarding individual needs. I would never recommend them to anyone.
