I have had numerous dealings with this nursing home. They have great meals, good entertainment for the clients due to a great activity director. They have religious services for all who want to attend once a week. It is a great facility to deal with and the care seems very good for the folks who live there.

For the most part, the staff at Hamilton Memorial Home is not bad. They are conscientious, seem to care about their residents, and do the best they can. The overall facility is just old and the food is a hit or miss (mostly miss). I think the grass over there was only cut once since my mother has been there. It's a large corporate-owned facility and in my opinion, it only cares about the bottom line profit of it.

Food wasn't good. Staff not knowledgeable. Couldn't get a refund of money from private pay after discharge because the company wasn't paying their bills. Poorly run.

I recently visited my great grandmother at the Hamilton Home. It was decent, but not the best. My grandma complained that the nurses didn't come to her room right away when she pressed the call button. The conditions seemed fine. Everything was clean and sanitary. My grandma requested her own room, but they gave her one with a roommate. The food looked fine and my grandma is able to watch most of her favorite channels on TV. However, she was upset that she couldn't watch her religious programs, as they didn't have that channel. All in all it seems like an alright place, but my grandma does not enjoy being there.
