The Legacy of DeForest had a very warm feeling when you walked in. It was very new. It was built in 2019. I observed a full-time chef on duty. The staffing was very professional looking and the memory care unit was very spacious. They were conducting singalong activities when I visited the common area. The common area acts both as a dining area and a common area for the memory care unit residents. They have a separate spa room for the residents to use. The rooms were very, very spacious. They had their own private baths, walk-in showers, and so forth. Very secure, they had an outside garden area for the people to enjoy going outside. The menus looked very appetizing and very nutritious. Everything was just immaculate. Each person had their own individual room and they were very, very spacious. They were very good-sized rooms. You could put a sofa in a chair and a bed and everything in there. They were really very nice.
