I liked Vintage at Mill Creek. I liked the layout of the apartment. It had most of the stuff that I wanted, like hardwood floors. It was clean, and not just the apartment, but the grounds. They looked well-kept. I saw the different activity rooms, where they have a billiard room and all that kind of stuff. I was actually able to talk to three of the residents there, and they seemed quite nice. The only other thing was that they don't have ground floors. The first floor is over the garage, and I can deal with that since it has an elevator. I commented to the lady who showed my daughter and me around about my dog and not really liking the idea that I have to put him on a leash and take him down the elevator because, for some reason, he's never learned to tell us that he has to go potty. She gave me an idea of something that I could do for those times that I can't get him downstairs. She was just very, very nice. Cleanliness was better than I expected. I was kind of expecting what a nursing home was like. My dad was in a nursing home, and it has an odor of sick people. It was not like that. If I remember correctly, they have lots of pictures. It was a very clean-looking place.
