Lynnhaven Cove

My tour with Lynnhaven Cove went very well. It appears to be very well taken care of. It was the cheapest of all of the places that I toured. There's a maximum income that you can earn to live there, but I just liked it very much. It has a garden where you can plant stuff in. The staff was very helpful and very nice. I've met two different people (one of them was the girl who helped me register). The process was very, very fast and seamless. I tried to apply at a couple of other places, and you had to gather together a lot of paperwork and tax returns and pay stubs and all that kind of stuff. So, it was kind of tedious. The facility was very clean. They have a rec room with a piano and all kinds of amenities.

I did a tour of Lynnhaven Cove in Virginia Beach. It's an independent living community. I walked through the building and all the apartments were occupied so I wasn't able to see one. Overall, the facility itself was lovely and immaculate. The staff who assisted me was very professional and very amiable. The facility was nice and I liked everything about it. They have numerous areas in the community where people can get together.

My mom is moving to Lynnhaven Cove in September because she likes it. It is very nice and clean. There are people of her age there whom she can associate and enjoy activities with. The facility has a shuttle to take her to the store. She can sign up with the community to go out to dinner. They have more than just bingo. They have people to come in and entertain them. There is also a hairdresser that comes a few times a week. They have potluck dinner and each resident has a garden. She is in a two-bedroom apartment and it is spacious with a kitchen and dining area. It has a washer and dryer in the unit. It is very bright and it has a homey feeling. I like it that outside each room, there is a built-in shelf where they can put personal items for them to identify their door because all the doors look- a-like. They have excellent reputation.
