What I liked best about Holiday Cowhorn Creek Estates was that it is all-inclusive in the price, the meals, and the housekeeping. It was a nice place, too, for activities and stuff like that. They provide transportation to and from doctors and for groceries. It is for people who are still independent but need just extra help. The staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I had lunch there and the food was delicious. They offered live music. They also had an activity center, a library, and a good outside walking path.

Holiday Cowhorn Creek Estates was a great place. It was lovely. The studio apartments were spacious. They had adequate room for senior living, but I think my brother needs more than just independent care. The woman was very knowledgeable and helpful. We went on a tour with her and she showed me all the amenities. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and they have adequate amenities for independent living.

I had an in-person tour of Holiday Cowhorn Creek Estates. I was very pleased with the tour and with the staff. The rooms were very spacious, and everything was very appealing. I was just looking more toward something like a duplex independent living instead of an apartment independent living. I saw an exercise area and a place where they could have games and shoot pool. The dining area was kind of like a restaurant setting. You sit down at a table, and they'll come give you a menu with a couple of different choices of items every day and bring it to your table.

My tour of Holiday Cowhorn Creek Estates was good. They were welcoming, very nice, and friendly, and answered all our questions. The common spaces were clean, they were newly updated. The activity that I saw was they had a little doggie parade, which was really cute, and something that my mother personally would love. The dining area was very open, it was large, and it had a lot of natural sunlight, which I thought was great. It looked updated and they had a menu on hand that had a variety of choices. I did not sample any of the food but they provided me with some cookies when I left, and the cookies were delicious.

Holiday Cowhorn Creek Estates offers everything that a person would want with the necessities they need. They have clean rooms, and the airflow seems pretty good. They have the upstairs and elevators. Many people prefer being up there because it's quieter and more private. The price is so high. I did attend a little party that they were having. They had a lot of refreshing stuff, and that was good. The staff was very nice.

Cowhorn Creek Estates was a lot bigger than the other place we toured. The atmosphere was good and the lady that toured us was good. She showed us a couple of rooms, which were a studio and one that has a living room and a bedroom. It was a bit more pricey, but the services that I would think my brother would maybe need were not necessarily all included. Whereas in the other place we toured, the services were included in the monthly cost, and I like the inclusiveness a little bit better. If you need cleaning and you can hire a cleaning staff, I like the fact that cleaning is included. There may be times when he couldn't do his own laundry, but if he needed somebody to do it, that would be another fee, or he can go down the hallway to do his own, and it would be free for him to do his own. I like that they would get him back and forth to his doctors and dialysis appointments, but I just thought the little extra things that may not even be needed all the time would be an additional fee. The facility was really, really nice. The one-bedroom with the living room was beautiful, and the studio apartment was pretty much about the same as the other place. They have a rec thing where you can play games, and there's a pool table. They also have a little basketball thing for when his grandson comes to visit. They can go there and spend some time together.

My visit to Cowhorn Creek Estates was fine. I was very impressed with the person who showed me around, and I was impressed with the facilities. Everything there looks very impressive. Their dining area was fairly large, has comfortable seating and tables for four people generally. People were eating when I was there since it was the lunch hour. They've got quite a few activities, I asked about a book club and I asked about a crocheting club, and they have both of those things. I wasn't there very long, but as far as I could see, everything looked very clean and well-maintained.

I loved Cowhorn Creek Estates, and I wish my mom could have gone there. It had an at-home feeling. People seem to know each other, and when they're talking they would say, "I'm going home," and not, "I'm going to my room." The lady who gave me the tour showed me several one-bedrooms and a two-bedroom. The two-bedroom was huge compared to the other ones; I can compare it to a hotel. It had two spacious bedrooms, a big kitchen and living room, and two baths. For my mom, that's more than what she needed. They showed me their economy models, or their smallest ones, and they're OK. She also showed me a corner room with a balcony. The place was laid out in an L shape, and I loved it. I know my mom would love it; she could go out into the balcony, and it's up on the treetops because it's on the third floor. It's looking out over the backyard, which was park-like. They have people you can hire for assistance. They had people who could do your laundry and help you get dressed and undressed. They're like nursing people you could hire, and all of that is on top of the room rate. So if you needed more than just the regular service, you could get it. Everybody was very friendly, and the place looked immaculate. When we walked in, there was one resident who had something wrong with their air conditioning, and they got it checked on immediately. Apparently, they kept things up very well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and any questions I wanted to ask they were glad to answer. The lady who showed me the place has apparently been in the business for quite some time. She came out a few days later to see my mother at my mother's place, and she told him that that facility was not what she needed and that she needed more care than what they could do. She was out to do the best of her part. The building has been there for a while, but it looks brand new.

Cowhorn Creek Estates is a simple independent living. The overall place is more for seniors who have a slower pace of living, and are not very well-kept. The outside of the building is beautiful, but the inside is not very impressive. They have a place where people can play basketball, they have walking trails which is nice. The outside grounds are also very nice. The carpets inside had a lot of spots, and it's just old-looking inside. It needs paint, needs updating, and new carpeting throughout the building. They also have bingo.

We visited Cowhorn Creek Estates. It was nice. I think it is the second nicest one in Texarkana. The workers were nice; everybody there was nice. They showed us a 2-bedroom, a 1-bedroom, and a studio. The studio was the cheapest one. The bedroom and living rooms were nice but there wasn't enough room in there.

I toured Cowhorn Creek Estates. They were absolutely inviting, warm, very easy to talk to, and I appreciated their time. I actually had the opportunity to speak to one of their residents, and they said they loved the food. It is a beautiful place. It is very clean, very nice, pretty easy to get around, and it is laid out nicely.

I had an in-person visit at Cowhorn Creek Estates. It was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The dining area was nice and roomy, and the tables were all beautiful and clean. It was a very clean, nice, and well-decorated place. They had about 10 Christmas trees up. The lounge area was very large and roomy. They had games and an exercise room, and the patio was very nice.

My mother-in-law used to live in Cowhorn Creek Estates, so I'm very familiar with it. I just didn't feel like my father was independent enough. They offered the services, but you had to pay someone extra, which was still less expensive, but you had to pay someone extra to come in to give him his medicine, you had to pay someone extra to come in and shower him. And my biggest concern with Cowhorn was that he is in a wheelchair and in the case of an emergency, being in a building that's three-stories high, him being able to get in a wheelchair and get out of the building and get in an elevator or he couldn't go downstairs ... can you use an elevator during a fire? That was my biggest concern. The facility is beautiful, and the food there is wonderful, but my mother-in-law could walk while my dad cannot walk. So, the main reason I did not choose them was because they were not at ground level. It's a great facility, but he's not really independent. He's assisted. The staff is wonderful, and the management is wonderful. Their room set up is great; they have great rooms.

The rooms are designed for ultimate flexibility. The amenities are excellent. The staff is well informed, professional and customer/resident oriented. I have interacted with almost all of staff in the past 8 years that my Mother has lived at Cowhorn Creek. No Mother loves all of the activities; her all time favorite is BINGO, followed by Word Find. My Mother loves living at Cowhorn Creek!

The rooms/apartments are lovely, and the atmosphere is social, interactive, and very engaging for the Residents. On the whole, the staff is charming and very very helpful. I and my family highly recommend this facility as the best in town, a home away from home for hear loved one.

My mother was a resident for 5 years. Upon her death 9 Jul I had to sign a notice of departure in 30 days. The result not only did I pay for the entire month of July but also had to pay for 10 days of August. No provision to accommodate death of a resident. I believe this is an unfair practice and all residents and future residents should be made aware. Additionally my mother on several occasions complained on the quality of food

I moved into Cowhorn Creek Estates. The staff there is very caring and has genuine generosity. The food is good, they help me by cleaning my room on Tuesdays, but the room is kind of small, but adequate for me and comfortable. There are a lot of things to do, my favorite is bean bag baseball, but there's also bingo at 6:00 pm.

Cowhorn Creek Estates was excellent. It's a bit more upscale than the other ones we visited. The apartments were very nice. The facility was compact, but everything in there was in such a clean, orderly fashion. The activities were very well organized, attended, and structured. They have a dining room, a family room, and a beautiful courtyard. They would make provisions for dogs, too, which was a huge plus. It's absolutely immaculate.

I went to Cowhorn Creek. It was a very nice community. The staff members were very helpful, very kind, and very knowledgeable. However, the kitchen was extremely small, and there was no stove. The activities seemed OK. They had a salon and an exercise room. They go places to visit different things.

Cowhorn Creek Estates was pretty good. Everybody was really friendly. I had lunch with them, and the food was excellent. I saw a room, but it was just not what I wanted. They even showed me a room with a washer and dryer. The staff was very accommodating and cordial, and they were really interested in me moving in there. It would probably be the place I'd choose, if I'm ready to move in. It was nice and clean. The residents were pretty cheerful, and some of them even talked to me.

My sister-in-law liked Cowhorn Creek Estates, so we just settled on that when it was the first one we went to. We just thought it was a nice and clean facility, well taken care of, great location, and the people were all very nice. We just felt it was the right place.

We toured Cowhorn Creek Estates, and when we first walked in, we saw that the place was beautiful. The people were so nice when we took our tour. We met a lot of the residents. They came and talked to us. It was a very nice place. The apartments were wonderful. My mom had a one-bedroom with a balcony. They had dining room-style dining. They had a library, workout rooms, games, and choirs. They had people who would come in and take your blood pressure. They would take you to all of your doctor's appointments in town. They had religious services and many more activities.

We toured Cowhorn Creek Estates. There wasn’t anything I liked about it because it was too expensive and too small. The staff was great. We had lunch with them; the food was great. They had a little workout room where you could exercise. The room we looked at had a balcony. The staff is there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They were very, very busy. They seemed to be very caring.

I used to stay at Cowhorn Creek. It was a newer facility. However, the personal service for the residents was not as good as it was here. Generally, they don't do anything for the residents except for very light housekeeping and fixed three meals a day because it was an independent living. They had a weird way of serving the residents. They serve in a shift. They would bring you coffee, juice and other drinks. But what I thought the worse thing about it was the management's relationship with the residents. It was unfortunate thing to have a nice facility in a nice location and had such poor management.

I visited this beautiful facility and was very impressed with all aspects. The food was very good and well presented. The grounds were well kept with flowers blooming. Rooms were sunny, bright and very clean. Everyone was friendly and seemed very happy. Employees interacted with residents in a happy way. Cowhorn Creek Estates is very close to a hospital and doctors' offices. They have a van for transportation to clinics and shopping. Cowhorn Creek Estates will be my new home in the near future.
