I got an apartment for my brother. It is just a regular apartment, but he is attending an Adult Day Center during the day. It is VIP Adult Day Center, and he's been attending there for about a month and a half already. It is really helping him a lot because they get their meals. He has short term memory loss, but since he grew up in Sinton, he knows the town very well. He likes attending because they understand him, and they treat him really well. My mother used to attend before she moved to San Antonio with me. It is very family oriented because it is all friends from the actual town. The center allows them to go to the store next door if they want to. They have to sign out and sign back in. He really likes it because they really give them not a lot of freedom but some freedom for them to get out and do what they want.
