Legends of Lindale only has independent living and no other levels of care. They have separate or stand-alone cottages, and it's like going down a little street in a small community. They are two-bedroom cottages with attached garages. They support the community to come up with different activities, so the residents can decide what they want to do. They have a walking group and there's a calendar that they put out. They had a big rec hall where the residents come in and it's like a neighborhood party. They have a community building or a clubhouse where you can go and do your potlucks or whatever you want to do. They also have transportation. When we just walked through the place, the residents said that when they propose something the community provides supplies or allocates money toward it. So everything is planned by the residents themselves. If they want to take a trip and enough people have signed up, they pool the money and take over, ordering a bus and planning all of it.
