They had canned soup and a sandwich every day for lunch. Some Staff did not speak much with residents and often belittled them for being too heavy or messing in their diaper..staff did not respond to requests of my friend for simple things. There were No activities offered. When I spoke to Director about issues ... she would get angry. She did nothing to make changes. Not a place I would ever recommend. More reasons than above mentioned

I was looking for an assisted living place that would be able to care for my mom who was bedridden, had a bedsore and was on hospice. I looked at about 10 different facilities till I decided on Bedford Residence. I liked the small community feel and the 24 hour care she would receive. Looking for a place to put your loved one is so stressful. I always felt at ease with Bedford Residence because she was taken good care of. She was at Bedford Residence for three years till she passed away in October. I will always be grateful to Dee and her wonderful staff for taking such good care of my mom.

This facility can hold about 16 people. This is an older facility located in what used to be a residential home. The neighborhood is quiet, but there are some commercial things in the area. There's not a lot of public transportation, though the facility provides transportation to a lot of activities. The facility is older but is well-maintained. They have an outside area for the residents to sit in. They have a great room where residents can read or watch TV, plus a few smaller common areas. The rooms are medium-sized and semi-private or private. The residents are able to customize their rooms here. The food is nutritious and tailored to the residents' liking. They're well known for their care. It's owned by two nurses, so they have a lot of health and wellness incorporated into the care. They have a lot of activities they do with the facility, including lots of crafts. The pricing is on the lower end, so it's very affordable, but they don't skimp on the care. The staff has mostly been there for a long time, and they're either certified or nurses, so they have some really good staff there.

We provide 24 hour staffing with clinical support from our Registered Nurse and a variety of other health care professionals that we contract with for rehabilitative, preventative, and on-going care needs. We also help coordinate medical appointments and treatment with community professionals and services.
