The staff at NorthStar Georgetown was great, and the layout was good. I also liked the apartment I was looking at. However, there were residents that I met who kind of made me feel like I was not really wanted there. I went to a couple of their events, and these people just kind of shrugged me off and turned their backs, so I decided to get away from there. Other than that, as far as the staff, location, community, and all, it was fine. It's just that some of the residents are kind of snobbish. The person who gave the tour went out of her way to show me the different apartments and explain how the community works, which I liked. They had a pool and a place where people could sit. They have a walking area that goes around the whole community. They have places outside, like a fire pit lounge, where they have people come in and meet. I went to one of them, and they had two guys come out and sing. They have a performance area, a putting green, a grand outdoor dining area, a bocce court, and a yoga lawn.

NorthStar Georgetown was very nice. They had food options; however, they were very helpful and very friendly. It was a nice atmosphere. We had considered that place, but we changed our mind because of the distance from where we are now. The rooms were very nice, but they were considerably smaller than what we're looking at in the other community. The upkeep was excellent. They have amenities. They also have a pickleball court that's very popular.

I moved to NorthStar Georgetown. It's friendly, very clean, comfortable, accessible, and helpful. The staff is wonderful. There's a social calendar with all kinds of different things. There are ways that you can get back and forth to the grocery store. I love the valet trash pickup. And outside, there's a pool, a little putting green, and barbecues. There are gyms inside. I'm cooking my meals. They have get-togethers and potlucks and stuff you can sign up for.

It was quiet and clean. The people were very nice. The staff was very cordial. They answered all my questions, and they let me see the different apartments they had. I was very satisfied with my tour. When we were going up the elevator, we met some maintenance men, and they were very polite and nice. There's no food at this place. It's brand new, so it's very clean.

We moved here. We've had a few glitches, but we really like the people here. I have a problem with my gate opener. It doesn't open the gate. We've been here and they've tried to fix it twice. It worked for a little bit, and then it quit. One of the staff members is not very good, and the other is very good. The rooms are very nice. They have happy hours, a prayer meeting, a coloring group, and game nights. The food that they offer us for free is very nice, but they don't feed us. We have to cook. They do supply party food. They try very hard to keep the facility clean. It needs painting on the outside, but the inside is pristine. We gave them a short list of some things we found wrong with the apartment when we moved in, and none of those have been addressed. The atmosphere in the lounge area is beautiful. It's expensive.

I toured here. I think it's very good. It looked like everybody was very happy. They have a lot of different offerings with respect to the rooms and the square footage. A lot of them have a little bit of outdoor space, like a balcony if it's on the higher floor, and if it's a ground level then it's got like a little garden area. They walked us around and showed us everything. We were given brochures, too. The staff members were very nice and very helpful.
